Smart Cards

Smart Cards are cards with capabilities to relate information to specialized applications. There are two broad categories of Smart Cards Memory cards and Microprocessor cards. Memory cards contain only non-volatile memory storage components, and perhaps dedicated security logic. Microprocessor cards contain volatile memory and microprocessor components. A microprocessor is what makes the card ‘SMART’. They take the form of either ‘Contact Card’, ‘Contactless Card’ or ‘Dual Interface Card’. Smart cards can provide identification, authentication, data storage and application processing. Depending on the customer requirement we can provide Smart card of various memory sizes in PVC, PET, ABS and polycarbonate material. Currently UT has supplied many personalized smart cards for various private sector solution provider companies.



EMV Cards

aro Also known as 'Chip & Pin' Card, is a standard for interoperation of IC cards (Chip) and IC Capable POS terminals & ATMs, for authenticating transactions.
